Kenny Lienhard is a generative artist based in Australia, with more than two decades of experience in digital art and design. He works with code and artificial intelligence, designing and directing the systems that generate his art and publishing the finished works onchain.
His practice explores the relationship between natural systems, data and blockchain, bringing a changing world into contact with immutable code. His visual language is systematic and spare. His latest series, Plates (2026), comprises fifty-two works, each tied to a tectonic plate and evolving with its movement.
In 2022, Lienhard opened Australia’s first digital art gallery. In 2026, he founded CypherPunks, an onchain art project and marketplace.
